Where would you fit in as a stakeholder of the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership Authority?
Since its inception in 2011 (when it was known as the PA eHealth Collaborative), the Pennsylvania eHealth Partnership Authority has relied on a large, diverse team of stakeholders. They have included doctors and nurses, academics, health information technology professionals, and state and local government leaders, to mention just a few. These volunteers have provided their input as part of committees and workgroups that have advanced health information exchange in Pennsylvania. In fact, the strategic and operational plans that guide the Authority were written in close collaboration with stakeholders.
As the Authority moves forward, we have an ongoing need to hear from a variety of existing and new stakeholder voices. Our team works in a collaborative environment, directly with our stakeholders, to develop plans and strategies that will help create and grow statewide HIE. Stakeholders may be asked to participate actively on committees and workgroups, to participate in focus groups or complete surveys, or to participate in periodic plenary sessions. All such active participation is greatly appreciated, but is strictly voluntary, and many stakeholders sign up for our distribution lists just to keep informed about what the Authority is up to.
In this chart, you will find a variety of categories of stakeholders and examples of the kinds of expertise and perspective they may be asked to contribute. Please review the chart to see where you might have an interest in working with us.
